PML-N's Wasim Ahmad Khan joins PTI
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former advisor to Punjab Chief Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Wasim Ahmad Khan on Sunday announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He announced this during a meeting with PTI Central Vice President (VP) and Senator Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry.
The senator welcomed the newcomer with PTIs muffler. PTI leaders, including Sajid Sardar Joiya and Asif Bhai were also present at the occasion.
Chaudhry, while talking to the media, said the PTI was the most popular party in the country, adding that only Imran Khan possessed the ability to steer the country out of crises.
Taking a dig at the ruling coalition in the center, the VP said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had journeyed Pakistan to the brink of disaster, adding that the movement would face defeat in the face of a no-confidence motion against Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.
